Swansea photographer Tyron Francis is currently working on a project about depression and how it affects the life of the sufferer and those around them.
He is producing a body of work comprising formal portraits and documentary images to feature in a local exhibition in early 2009. After that he hopes to exhibit outside of Swansea and release a book of the images. Participants are asked to produce a short piece of writing about any aspect of the illness they would like to talk about to accompany their photograph.
If you would like to take part or know of somebody who would benefit from being a part of this project please contact Tyron directly through http://www.tfrancis.co.uk.
Well unfortunately I missed this, as it took part a little earlier than I expected, but luckily thanks to the wonders of the interweb we can all watch it again…
Looks pretty amazing, and aparantly the number of participants was in the region of 200.
