Swansea Music Art Dance have received a significant capital grant from the Swansea Development Fund to purchase audio visual recording equipment and begin running an audio visual resource in the city centre.

It will allow artists, musicians and the local community to use digital camcorders and sound recording equipment to produce DVD recordings of their work and they are hoping it will boost the creative economy in Swansea.

Swansea M.A.D is a community interest company formed in 2008 which supports the arts and live music scene in Swansea and its district. They work to further the professionalism of local, musicians bands, performers and artists.

The Brunswick presents an art exhibition by printmaker Judith Stroud and self-taught artist Stephen Woodman. The opening party takes place on Wednesday 9th September from 7pm.

The team at Swansea Print Workshop would like to invite you to a public meeting where you will be able to find out exactly where they are with the exciting new Kings Lane Warehouse project. The evening will include a presentation of the design by the award winning architect Sarah Wigglesworth.

The event will take place at 7pm, Wednesday 20th May at Waterfront Community Church Conference Centre, Langdon Road (off Fabian Way), Swansea SA1 8QY.

This is an opportunity to view the plans for the conversion of the 19th Century warehouse off the historic Kings Lane in Swansea and to talk to representatives of everyone involved.
