Exist. Mini Ramp Jam

July 31st, 2007 by Benjy

Against all the odds, the sun turned up in Swansea on Sunday for Exist’s skateboard competition.

Thanks to the competitors for putting on a cool show, and of course to the organisers, bands and everyone else who helped put on the event.

Exist Opening New Outlet

March 9th, 2007 by Benjy

Made2fade teaser

Exist Clothing, established in 2001, are busy refurbishing their outlet (above Hobo’s) ready for its grand (re)opening this month.

Through constant hard-work, the company has built up its reputation within Swansea’s alternative scene. Their unique blend of skate & club culture, with a philosophical conscience, has turned them into one of the city’s best assets and their cheeky signature design, Casper, has become as much an underground symbol for Swansea as the film it originated from.

The new outlet has some treats ready for us too. It’s getting a fresh lick of paint, there’ll be an exhibition from graphic artist Dilac and there’s the brand new Made2Fade tshirt series featuring four different artist’s take on the same design brief.

So put it in your diaries: 17th March @ Exist.Outlet, 214 Oxford street, Swansea, SA1 3BG.

See you there. :D

S3 Need Your Support for Swansea Skate Park

January 26th, 2007 by Benjy

“We need to collect all petitions and letters of support by the end of January.

If you have anything, let one of us know and we’ll arrange to pick it up, or you can drop it into Wheelies or Exist.

The response is getting better but it still isn’t great. There are definitely some people I would have expected to write but haven’t.

Please, please, please get as much done for this as possible – funding bodies don’t tend to hand over half a million pounds without some community support.

You can download the petition and letter of support at:
http://www.streetsportsswansea.co.uk/downloads.html

and you can contact us at:
jason@streetsportsswansea.co.uk
ric@streetsportsswansea.co.uk
main@streetsportsswansea.co.uk

C’mon Swansea, you can do it!

(feel free to copy to like minded souls)”
