Poq Release Single - You Download It.

Poq 'Red Admiral' Cover Art

Poq’s debit single ‘Red Admiral’ is available to download now from iTunes and almost all good online record shops.

You should buy this, not just because they’re from Swansea and they’re nice blokes, but because the songs are great and theres a cracking glitchy-electro remix by Lifting Gear Engineer too. The iTunes download costs £3.16, includes 4 tracks and, huzzah!, its DRM free.

Apparently a plastic version is on the way too, and theres a launch party in the big city (Cardiff) - check out Housefly Records for more info.

Live Music at Bar,Co

November 10th, 2007 by Benjy

With Welsh metal band Right Turn Blind impressing a guy from Roadrunner Records during their gig, it seems Bar,Co’s aim to bring alternative music and live bands to Wind Street is really paying off. With other similar bars popping up, it’s refreshing to see that there is a real appetite for bands in the city.

You can now catch metal, punk, indie & acoustic (amongst others) at Bar,Co which proves you don’t have to play dance music to pull in crowds, even on the weekend.

Check out Bar,Co’s MySpace for more info and gig listings:
