Pretty Shitty City

A new rock club, called Vice, is opening soon in Swansea. From their map, it looks like it’ll be opening right opposite Sin City, (presumably) on top of The Potter’s Wheel.

They’re billing themselves as the place where “class meets trash” with a more luxurious rock and metal style than other clubs.

This end of The Kingsway is fast becoming the ‘alternative‘ end of town with Sigma and Sin City already established there. Although their music line-up sounds a little familiar; “rock, indie, metal, punk, grunge & ska“, here’s hoping that Vice Rock Club can offer something original to the Swansea scene.

Next up, will someone please open a cool/alternative/studenty type pub close to this end of The Kingsway? Have a jukebox with indie, rock, dance & hiphop tracks. Decently priced drinks (it needn’t be Wetherspoon’s cheap). Relaxed atmosphere. Maybe a pool table or two. Don’t worry about bands, there’s enough of that going on. Please?
